The Project is located in the Southpark area of Charlotte, an active, affluent and alluring commercial and residential district. The design team was challenged to maximize Grubb Properties return on it’s investment by successfully orchestrating the integration of a national gourmet grocer and streetwise boutique retail with Grubb’s primary product- luxury condominiums and apartments. Each element needed to perform successfully and contribute to the overall environment that was to be crafted. Referred to now as Morrison, indicative of it’s cohesive sense of place, the 300+ residential units and 60,000 sf+ of retail remain fully leased with tenants that have become institutions within the community. The project also includes a multi-level parking structure whose top level accommodates a large amenities courtyard including a resident pool and clubhouse.
